摘要: 采用Landolt范式,要求被试分别阅读由汉字和改编后的韩语符号组成的句子,探讨汉字的笔画数对眼跳目标选择的影响是由视觉复杂性引起,还是由视觉复杂性导致的认知加工复杂性引起。结果发现:是否存在词汇信息不仅影响跳读率和平均向前眼跳幅度,还会对首次注视和单次注视中的平均注视位置产生影响。结果表明,汉字的笔画数对眼跳目标选择的影响,既与视觉复杂性有关,也与认知加工复杂性有关,即与词汇信息有关。研究结果支持“战略-战术”模型。

Abstract: The present study was aimed at investigating the role of visual complexity of characters on saccadic targeting while the influence of lexical properties was well controlled. The Landolt paradigm was used while participants were instructed to read sentences that were consisted of normal Chinese characters, or were consisted of the artificial characters that were constructed based on the Korean characters. The visual complexity of each character in two types of sentences were strictly matched. The results showed that participants exhibited longer forward saccade lengths, and more refixations on words when reading normal sentences with both lexical and visual information compared to that only with visual information, suggesting that both visual and lexical information influence the decision of where to move the eyes. The present study provide evidence for the "strategy-tactics" theory.
