A Study on Rural Residents’ Well-being Based on the Day Reconstruction Method：From The Viewpoint of Affect Experience

Abstract

Abstract: To investigate the status and influential factors on rural residents’ well-being，the Day Reconstruction Method(DRM)and the Satisfaction With Life Scale(SWLS)were used to measure 616 rural residents' subjective well-being. Results showed that the positive affect experienced by rural residents of Shandong province was more than the negative affect. The most enjoyable activity for rural residents is intimate relations, the second is pray/worship/meditate, the third is playing. Working without salary, working with salary, commuting were rated lowest among 24 activities. Interactions with one’s grown-up children topped the list of enjoyable activities, followed by interaction with friends, little children, and spouses. Interactions with coworkers and leaders were rated the most unenjoyable activities. The biggest influential factor on rural residents’ well-being was the region where they come.

摘要： 采用日重现法对山东省616名农村居民幸福感进行了研究，结果发现：（1）农村居民在日常生活中体验到的积极情感大于消极情感；（2）农村居民感到最愉快的活动是亲密关系/性活动，其次是宗教活动、玩；感到愉快程度最小的活动是没有工资的干活，其次是有工资的干活、外出。（3）农村居民感到最幸福的交往对象是子女，其次是朋友；感到最不幸福的交往对象是同事，其次是领导；（4）性别、年龄、文化程度、婚姻状况、收入等因素对山东省农村居民幸福感的综合影响显著。
