Graduate Students' Research Experience, Creativity and Research Career Aspiration: The Moderating Role of Learning Goal Orientation

研究生科研经历、创造力与科研职业抱负的关系:学习目标导向的调节作用

Abstract: Encouraging graduate students to participate in research is helpful to improve their professionalism and creativity. Based on the important role of research experience, the present study was aimed to explore the relations between research experience, creativity and research career aspiration, as well as the moderating effect of learning goal orientation. The sample for this study consists of 486 graduate students from four major cities in China. The results indicate that: (1) Graduate students' research experience has significant predictive effect on their research career aspiration; (2) Creativity of the students partly mediates this relation; (3) Graduate students' learning goal orientation positively moderates the relation between research experience and creativity, as well as the relation between research experience and research career aspiration.

摘要: 鼓励研究生参与科研活动,是提升研究生培养质量与创造力的重要途径。为探讨研究生科研经历、创造力、科研职业抱负的关系以及学习目标导向的调节作用,对486名全日制研究生进行问卷调查。统计结果表明:(1)科研经历对科研职业抱负有正向影响;(2)科研经历正向预测创造力;(3)创造力在科研经历与科研职业抱负关系中具有部分中介作用;(4)学习目标导向正向调节科研经历与创造力之间的关系;(5)学习目标导向正向调节科研经历与科研职业抱负的关系。
