    Abstract ( )   PDF (495KB) ( )   References | Related Articles | Metrics
Matching Puzzle Tasks were used to exam the developmental differences in preschool children's metacognition monitoring. The subjects were 98 3 to 5-year-old preschool children. The results indicated that the time preschoolers spending on matching task decreased and the times of attention and successful performances increased with age. At the same time, the more difficult the task was, the more pause and attention times they had. It proves that preschoolers can regulate and control their performances.

    Abstract ( )   PDF (332KB) ( )   References | Related Articles | Metrics
It was for the needs of the behavior research of children, the Interpersonal Conflict Coping Strategy Scale was revised. 392 subjects were measured by group test, ranging from 8~14 years old. 5 dimensions were extracted by factor analysis: problem solving, help seeking, avoidance, internalizing and externalizing. The structure of the scale was stable. The consistency reliability and the split-half reliability range from 0.56~0.84 and 0.54~0.83. Two-week test-retest reliability was 0.86. Expert assessing showed a good content validity. The result showed that it was a practical instrument for the measure of interpersonal conflict coping strategy of children.

    Abstract ( )   PDF (611KB) ( )   References | Related Articles | Metrics
In order to confirm the organizational factors influencing self regulated learning(SRL), the reliability and validity of organizational career management(OCM), learning climate(LC)and frustration copying style(FCS)were tested in study I. The reliabilities and validities of these questionnaires were acceptable using 208 subjects from 6 enterprises. After confirmatory analysis using 603 subjects from 11 enterprises in the study II, the result indicated OCM, LC all had positive effects on SRL, and the district of the enterprise, different units quality and professions all influence the employees′ SRL. SRL had positive effects on FCS.

In two experiments, the subjects made the parity judgement of Arabic numerals and the morpheme of Chinese characters. The study explored the response-response compatibility during task switching in task switching paradigm. The results are as follows,(1)the effect of response-response compatibility was different in Arabic numerals and Chinese characters.(2)the effect of response-response compatibility was same before switching and after switching in task of Arabic numerals.(3)the effect of response-response compatibility are was before switching and after switching in task of Chinese characters.

    2006, 4(1):  28-33.
    Abstract ( )   PDF (540KB) ( )   References | Related Articles | Metrics
Adopting sentence-picture verification task technique, this paper describes two experiments designed to examine the item order of propositions representation of in Indonesian readers′ understanding Indonesian initiative sentence and passive sentence. It was indicated Indonesian readers easily formed the constant propositions representation of ″object→agent″ in reading Indonesian initiative sentence and passive sentence, whatever they were reversible. The author concludes that Indonesian students formed the same deep structure according the different surface structure when they read Indonesian initiative sentence and passive sentence, and they probably had a series cognitive processing according inherent directionality of ″object→agent″.

    2006, 4(1):  34-38.
    Abstract ( )   PDF (548KB) ( )   References | Related Articles | Metrics
In the present study, two picture-word interference experiments investigated whether properties of nouns may affect classifiers selection during the production of Chinese noun and noun phrases in the form of quantifier+classifier+noun. The results showed that noun distractors that shared a same classifier with the target noun led to longer utterance for noun phrases, but not for bare nouns production. The ones that were semantically related to the target nouns led to longer utterance onset latencies for noun production, but not for noun phrases. The implications of our results on the lexical access of function words in speech production are discussed.

    Abstract ( )   PDF (615KB) ( )   References | Related Articles | Metrics
This research aimed at developing an instrument which suits to the Chinese enterprises, entitled Enterprise Intendant Management Self-Efficacy Questionnaire(EIMSEQ). On the basis of pilot study, 8 dimensionalities and 64 items were determined for the questionnaire by means of expletory factor-analysis. We administered the questionnaire to 475 middle position intendants which were selected from 6 national-owned enterprises in Tianjin. 425 were valid subjects, among them 364 are male and 61 are female. The data analysis suggested that EIMSEQ has a good construct validity and reliability indices.

    2006, 4(1):  45-48.
    Abstract ( )   PDF (402KB) ( )   References | Related Articles | Metrics
Lexical decision method was used to examine the effect of initial word frequency and last word frequency of Chinese idioms on the highly familiar idiom recognition time. The results showed that:(1)The recognition of the highly familiar idiom was consistent with the Multi-Level Cluster Representation Model;(2)The component word representation of an idiom competed and interfered with the idiom representation. Compared with the component words with low frequency, the component words with high frequency had more competitive and interfering effect on the idiom representation.

Tested on 376 college student, the college student subjective well-being scale consists of 41 items representing subjective well-being covering eight dimensions: self satisfaction, family satisfaction, negative emotion, positive emotion, energy, life satisfaction, social behavior and interpersonal relationship. Confirmatory factor analysis showed that the structure was acceptable.

Study of behavioral genetics in personality is for the purpose of explaining the level of individual variances of personality, depending on investigating genotype-environment variances, and provides a new approach for interpreting the effects of genetic and environment on individual development. This paper began with nature and nurture, closely surrounding the stages by which behavioral genetics had development in the field of personality:heredity, environment, and specific genes research, exploring their interaction further between genetic and environment in the process of individual personality development.

Creativity is one of the important topics that psychologists are interested in. it is an interesting attempt to find the inside mechanism of creativity through the psychoanalytic theory. There is a relation between primary-process thinking and creativity with development of science of brain. This article reviewed some major developments and findings on this topic recently and brought forward a hypothesis about ability of activation of creative fountain, at last a prediction of the future trends in this field is also suggested in order to reveal the essence of creativity.

    2006, 4(1):  70-74.
    Abstract ( )   PDF (576KB) ( )   References | Related Articles | Metrics
Two major models of adolescence personality development have recently been proposed. One is Blatt′s interpersonal relatedness and self-definition model, the other is psychological needs and motivation model proposed by Deci and Ryan. On the base of these two models, Shahar, Henrich, et al(2003)carried out a theoretical and empirical integration, and constructed a motivation mediating model. This article reported the advance of the theories and discussed the limitation of the present studies. Furthermore, the authors predicted the trend of future research.

The present paper mainly concerns the developments of semantic priming and its brain mechanisms. Priming effect is the focus of the studies of implicit memeory. Semantic priming studies take advantage of the semantic feature of stimulus. Brain lesions, neuroimages and ERPs are often used as methods of semantic priming. Many studies have proved that a large range of area plays a role in the semantic priming processes, especially the anterior areas and left hemisphere.
