A semi-structured interview and questionnaire method were used to explore the implicit theories of intelligence among teachers and school students. The results indicated that:(1)teachers attached greater importance to the char?鄄acteristics related cognition, and took higher criteria to senior middle school students.(2)Students paid much atten?鄄tion to the factors regarded interpersonal communication, and the conception of students from senior middle school was more profound than those from junior middle school.(3)The views on the implicit theories of intelligence were similar between teachers and students, which varied depending on the age and gender of the students. However, teachers and students emphasized particularly on diverse aspects of the intelligent characteristics.

Using DRM paradigm, the authors asked the subjects to judge the graphic structure or the tone of Chinese characters, for studying the word lists indirectly. The authors investigated some factors that influenced true and false recognition. These factors were association, encoding style, testing context(times of testing and the color of test words). The results showed that:(1)the more of the association between unstudied words and studied words, the more false recognition rate, which suggested that association is an necessary factor of inducing false memory; (2)false recognition under the condition of graphic-judgments was significantly higher than the condition of phonological-judgments, which suggested that graphic-semantic relationship is closer than phonological-semantic relationship;(3)the testing context has different effect on true and false memory, which suggested that they share a same source but with totally different mechanism.

SES scale and self-compiled questionnaire ″Undergraduates Social Support Questionnaire″ were used to test 370 undergraduates to explore the relations between their self-esteem and social support. The results showed: Un?鄄dergraduates′ self-esteem from city was significantly higher than those from country. Female undergraduates′ so?鄄cial supports were significantly higher than male undergraduates′. The social supports from sophomores were sig?鄄nificantly lower than those from juniors and seniors. Undergraduates′ self-esteem was significantly positively cor?鄄related with the three sorts of social supports which contained the structure of social support(classmates and friends′ support, family support, lovers′ support, teachers′ support), the properties of social support(emotional support, company support, tangible support, informational support, evaluation of support). The total of social sup?鄄port, emotional support, classmates and friends′ support were positive predictors of undergraduates′ self-esteem. The higher self-esteem of undergraduates was showed, the more degrees of social supports were received. Under?鄄graduates′ self-esteem had interaction with social support.

Stroop interference paradigm was used to investigate the differences of the inhibitory mechanism between the filed dependenct and filed independenct participants. By using GEFT(group embedded figures test), 28 partic?鄄ipants were selected from 71 university students, and there was equal number of 14 students in both field-de?鄄pendent group and field-independent group. In the experiment, the WinPes Phychological Experimental System was applied to present Stroop task. The results showed:(1)People of field-dependent cognitive style inhibited less efficiently the distracting information than those of independent style.(2)In the Stroop task, automatic pro?鄄cessing of the word colors happened, but the automatic degree was relatively low.

With the base-rate of success controlled, BST tasks were used to examine the developmental differences in primary children′s strategy adaptivity. The participants were 128 grade 2~5 children. The results indicated:(1)there was grade difference in children′s strategy adaptivity, namely, children of grade 2 were lower than those of grade 3 in strategy adaptivity, and children of grade 2 and 3 were lower than those of grade 4 and 5 in strate?鄄gy adaptivity.(2)children′s strategy adaptivity developed from phase to phase, which changed qualitatively. Chil?鄄dren of grade 2 to 4 showed a significant and gradual trend, and children of grade 4 to 5 were in stable state.

In this research, questionnaire was used to select undergraduates with high and low ability of creative think?鄄ing. The negative priming paradigm was used to examine the identity negative priming on the two groups of the participants and the correlation between the identity negative priming of Chinese characters and creative thinking was examined. The results suggest that the low ability of creative thinking group of undergraduates showed signif?鄄icant identity negative priming than did the high group.

The present study examined effects of the spatial position paired-word presented on memory of its meaning in the immediate recall and the delayed recall tasks. The results showed:(1)the spatial position of the paired-word presented influences the recognition of the paired-word only in the delayed recall task;(2)the correct rate of the paired-words recognition in the random position condition was significantly higher than fixed position in delayed recall task;(3)the recognition of paired-word was not influenced by the presenting background.

In this study, we explored the relationship between loneliness, coping strategies and temperament in 453 col?鄄lege students with questionnaire. The results suggest that multiple differences in gender, source, and major were found in loneliness and coping strategies scores. Loneliness correlated significantly with most factors of coping strategies and temperament. There is good regression relation between loneliness, coping strategies and temperament.

446 fifth to eighth graders from Liaoyang city were selected to explore the relationship between parental conflict, adolescent′s cognitive appraisals and adolescent′s social adjustment. The result shows:(1)The girls re?鄄ported that parental emotional conflict was significantly more than the boys′ report; The students′ parental conflict related to themselves and children was significantly more serious in Junior high school than the students′ in ele?鄄mentary school;(2)The more parental verbal, physical and emotional conflict, and the more of represented aca?鄄demic problem and problem behavior. Verbal conflict significantly predicted academic problem; Physical conflict significantly predicted depression and problem behavior; Parental conflict related to children significantly negative?鄄ly predicted problem behavior;(3)Children′s cognitive appraisals is a mediator between the relation of parental conflict and children′s internal adjustment, but children′s cognitive appraisals isn′t a mediator between the rela?鄄tion of parental conflict and children′s external adjustment.

The algebra word problem was used to investigate the relationship between the algebra word problem catego?鄄rization and mathematics score. The results suggest that the algebra word problem categorization is significanly different in different grades; higher score students′ categorization is better than lower score student do.

In the current study, the Chinese Version of Almost Perfect Scale-Revised(APS-R)is developed and its re?鄄liability and validity are examined. 1174 college students participate the first test and 321 students participate the retest. The internal consistency reliability is 0.823. The retest reliability is from 0.677 to 0.716.The split-half reliability is from 0.661 to 0.834. Exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis offer support for the 3 subscales of the APS-R: High Standards, Order, and Discrepancy. The High Standards of APS-R and measures of self-es?鄄teem, self-efficacy and positive affect are positively correlated. The Discrepancy and measures of depression, state anxiety, trait anxiety and negative affect are negatively correlated. The revised Chinese Version of Almost Perfect Scale-Revised(APS-R)with acceptable validities and reliabilities can be applied in perfectionism research areas and psychotherapy and counseling fields.

The ways to search foreign psychological journals on internet are discussed in this paper. Two ways are as follows: 1)the direct way, namely, the reader searches a variety full text datebase to obtain the resources they want; 2)the indirect way, namely, the reader searches some quotation datebase to browse the topics and abstracts firstly, then they asks some resource service framework or other libraries to obtain the journals they wannt.
